Dr. William G. Hamilton

I currently diagnose and treat both acute and chronic injuries to dancers, athletes, entertainers as well as non-performers. Foot and ankle problems are of particular concern because they are frequently misdiagnosed. A successful outcome depends on correctly identifying the problem, followed by appropriate treatment and rehabilitation for all injuries. I run a post-graduate foot & ankle fellowhip in association with The Hopsital for Special Surgery and St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center. I am also the orthopedic consultant for New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, the School of American Ballet, and the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre. Other consulting work includes The Ailey School, various Broadway shows, the New York Yankees, and the New York Knicks. A final area of my practice is promoting injury prevention through annual orthopedic screenings, tailored for dancers and athletes.
